The music that you choose will set the atmosphere of your special day from the moment the wedding party arrives.

Based in the south east of England, Rachel has a beautiful lyrical soprano voice and can perform a wide range of music in different languages and styles.

Your choice of music is very personal and Rachel is happy to discuss special requests if you have a favourite song; or she can make suggestions from her large repertoire which includes music for both religious and civil ceremonies.

Most typically, Rachel would sing during the signing of the register, but can also sing at the start of the ceremony, the processional entry, before the vows, or to conclude the service. She is happy to work with the venue accompanist, church organist and choir, or can arrange her own accompanist if necessary.

Rachel is available for weddings in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northants, North London and nationwide. Prices are available on request.

Please get in touch using the contact menu if you have any questions on the services provided.

“Rachel sang the Lakme duet at our wedding while we signed the register and it was spine tingling. Her tone is so pure and soars across any venue. The photographer was spellbound and my husband and I witnessed him forgetting what he was meant to be doing and just standing listening to the beautiful singing, a moment we will treasure forever.”

“Rachel sang two beautiful songs for us during the signing of the register: Gounod’s ‘Ave Maria’ and an excellent adaptation of our favourite song by Green Day. It made our wedding day even more special to know that our wedding service was unique and it became a real talking point among our guests. Rachel was great as she listened to what we wanted and guided us towards what would be most appropriate for a wedding ceremony, whilst retaining our initial ideas. Throughout the hectic times before the big day, Rachel was always professional, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”

“We can’t thank you enough for the beautiful songs you sang for us at our wedding. It was the perfect interlude whilst we signed the register and we had so many friends comment on your beautiful voice throughout the rest of the day. It really was a unique and wonderful day and will live long in our memories. Most importantly you also handled the pressure and were not perturbed by our little nephew, who was captivated by your voice, wandering around you as you performed – a truly magical moment!

“Thank you so much for such wonderful memories. Your singing at our wedding was totally awesome!! So many of our guests have commented on how beautifully you sang and asked where we found you. A part of me didn’t want to get to the end of the aisle as that meant the end of you singing, and I was enjoying it so much. And what a shame we had a job to do as we signed the register, what we wanted to do was to just sit and enjoy listening to you. We can’t wait to see the video and hear your voice all over again… and again… and again!!! “

Linda and Mike Wardlaw

“Rachel was a natural choice for performing during the ceremony itself as she has such a beautiful voice and we knew she would be nothing but professional on the day. We chose one of the new Take That songs and left it to Rachel to decide how to interpret it for the signing of the register. For us, the words were the most important aspect and we couldn’t have anticipated how her performance really enhanced the meaning of the song. It was just perfect.”
